Sherwood green, Sandalwood interior, "Sand Top".
Car was bought new @ Grand Buick, in Dallas, ended up in League City TX,
in the early 1980s. Car disappeared until 1998, when I found it @ a Used
Car Lot, Thanksgiving Morning, car was purchased by Dealer @ a VoA auction,
getting ready to be taken to the Houston AutoRama Auction Saturday. I was
at the lot, @ 0800 Friday morning waiting to talk to someone, & set
the deal @ 11 AM.
I set up a Deal with John Stevens @ the 99 GSCA Nationals in Columbus, He
& his Family Flew in, Picked up the Suburban I was using for trading
stock, the Car & a LowBoy trailer, and headed back to Indiana to proceed
with doing Body & Paint.
This past March, John, Robin & Crew, came down with "My Birthday
Present" and I have been S L O W L Y putting things back together,
and buying the items needed to complete this project. HOPE to have it completed
in time for BPG Nationals in Ohio so I can drive it up. (can't have it ready
for Norwalk, lack of $ is hold back)
Car is a MATCHING # car, I am believed to be the 3rd owner, and have spoken
with the 2nd but have to get back in touch to try and find more history.
